Dolgov Vitaliy Vasiljevich, 60, former Chief Engineer and Deputy General Director of Tyazhpromarmatura JSC, died suddenly on November 30, 2012 in Aleksin.
Vitaliy Vasiljevich was born on the 12th of May 1952 in Orel. In 1976 he graduated from Tula Polytechnic Institute. In 2005 he defended academic degree of Candidate of Engineering Science.
In 1977 he started his labor activity in Aleksin Plant of Heavy Industrial Valves as manufacturing engineer in the Department of Chief Technologist. In 1986 he was appointed Chief Engineer of the plant, after five years – Deputy Technical Director. Since 2002 – Chief Engineer and beginning from 2011 until June 2012 – Deputy General Director of Tyazhpromarmatura JSC. Vitaliy Vasiliy Dolgov was directly involved into development of new ball valves for main pipelines, designing of ball valves with sealing “metal-to-metal”, slide gate valves for oil pipelines.
Thanks largely to a wealth of experience of Chief Engineer in 2007 valves for oil pipeline “East Siberia – Pacific Ocean” were successfully supplied.
In 2009-2011 with direct involvement of Vitaliy Vasiljevich Tyazhpromarmatura JSC designed and brought into service the modern industrial unit for manufacture of special purpose valves for nuclear power and thermal power engineering.
Vitaliy Vasiljevich was an active inventor, author of patented papers. In 2003 he was awarded a title “Honoured Mechanical Engineer of Russian Fedreation”. In 2012 as per decision of Assembly of Representatives of Aleksin District Vitaliy Vasiljevich was awarded the Badge of Honour “For rendering great services to the town and to the district” of the Ist degree.
Being the experienced specialist Vitaliy Vasiljevich had authority and respect with the workers of Aleksin plant. Company management and personnel of Tyazhpromarmatura JSC express deepest sympathy to the family of Vitaliy Vasiljevich in respect of his untimely death.
